Butterflies Everywhere

Butterflies Everywhere

This beautiful butterfly stamp from Lavinia is just gorgeous!  I colored her with Prismacolor pencils.  Her buddies are created from Crafter's Companion Liftable dies. Used holographic papers from Sizzix underneath to make them sparkle like crazy.  The bible verse is from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  I love it when I can put God's word into one of my created scenes!

So have you heard of this beautiful gift from God?  Hope these butterflies remind all of us how blessed we are to be able to receive this free gift!!

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a blessed day!!

Fabulous Vacation Home

 Fabulous Vacation Home

Who wouldn't want to make a booking at a fabulous vacation home, complete with great views and gnome servants?  This is an 8 x 10 ad for this wonderful mansion.

Fairy Hugs stamps used:
Grand Gnome Mansion
Fairy House
Fanciful Flowers
Dancing Mushrooms
Moon Tree

This is my first attempt at an 8 x 10 scene done with all Fairy Hugs stamps.    It was fun trying to use what I have to create a scene I had in mind.  Definitely would've been easier had I have more foliage stamps!

Took me a long time to get the fancy borders cut and glued on.  But I so enjoy the result.  This is a project for the second Fairy Stamper Hugs challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!

 What Happened to Oscar?

Oscar, the resident octopus at Fairy Hugs Stamps is usually depicted as a nice sweet fellow.  But when I first saw him, images of 'Kracken' from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie appeared in my head.  This is my feeble attempt at making Oscar mean.....😁

Fairy Hugs stamps used:
Oscar
Sunken Ship
The Net

I can hear Oscar in a snarly voice: "You see that sunken ship over there?  Well I brought it down, and I can bring you down, too......!" 😬

This is a project for the very first Fairy Stamper Hugs challenge.  Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day

This is my first time making Valentine's Day cards with Lavinia stamps.  I had so much fun looking through my stash and coming up with ideas for V-day design.  I ended up creating 7 different designs. The Stargazing Couple is the final design for this "Love" series which is also my project for LW challenge #46.  Will post all the designs leading up to this one at the end.....

Lavinia Stamp used:  Stargazing

Metal Dies used:  Anna Griffin's Heart Easel die set

Deciding on which Lavinia stamp to use for this easel card was easy.  The hard part was choosing the supporting papers.  I finally decided on dark purple cardstock for the card base, light lavender metallic paper for the cut and embossed layer, and plum colored matte mirror cardstock for the heart frame.  Also matted the card base with a light lavender patterned cardstock in my stash.   This was a fun project and intended for my husband on Valentine's day!

Here are the rest of the Valentine designs:

The cute snail couple

The adorable hedgehog couple

The lovely bunnies

The great pegasi

The sexy fox

The playful young love

Hope you enjoyed the different Valentine designs.  Have a wonderful day and treasure the time spent with your Valentines!!

Start of an Unlikely Friendship

Start of an Unlikely Friendship

The curious mouse unintentionaly startled Zanor, which then started an unusual friendship.  This sounds like maybe the beginning of a cute romantic film......that's how I see it anyways!  Sometimes it's so much fun to let your imaginations run wild.....

The background for this scene was the darkest from the last batch I made a couple of weeks ago.  Luckily it has a lighter center to help highlight the stamped images.

Lavinia Stamps used:

Tree of Dreams

Zanor

Mice set

Fairy Hive set

After I planned and stamped the scene, there was little else to do except to add glitters.....and I so enjoyed lighting up the tree with lots of silver glitters!

This project is for Lavinia World Challenge #45.  Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

A Magical Forest Temple

A Magical Forest Temple

Only in a magical world can you get away with a purple temple!  This pink/purple background has been sitting in a corner for a while. When I got my hands on the Forest Temple stamp, I wanted to try it out on this background.  Kinda like how it turned out, even if it's a bit unusual. 😃

The only other stamp I used was the miniature leave which I stamped with Versafine Claire Monarch, Fantasia, Blue Bell, and Green Oasis inks in different generations.

I colored the temple with Prismacolor pencils and added silver glitters to the leaves.

Was going to add other stamps to frame this temple.....glad I left it alone, and let the stamp and the background speak for themselves. 😊

This project is for Lavinia World challenge #44.  Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!!

Reflecting on The Year

Reflecting on The Year.....

Ringing in the New Year is usually a festive affair, with parties, celebrations, fireworks...lots of fun activities!  The year 2020 has been so different, so challenging to so many.....sometimes it's good to just spend a quite evening with loved ones, counting the blessings we've overlooked or taken for granted.  It is with this in mind that this scene is created for the current LW bi-weekly challenge.  Who would you choose to spend the last evening of the year with?

Lavinia Stamps used:
Stargazing Couple
Marine Kelp
Mini Stars

The sentiment is a word die from Crafter's Companion.  The background is once again created from Tracey's gel press technique.
I quite like the colorful array of liquid pearls on the pebbles the couple is sitting on.  Also enjoyed putting black and purple glitters to accentuate the hills.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a Wonderful New Year!!
